eScribe training is designed to provide an efficient and effective onboarding experience, ensuring users feel confident using their eScribe system from day one. Training is delivered through a combination of self‑paced learning in the eScribe Academy and, where applicable, one‑on‑one training (with an additional cost).
Getting Started
What if I am a brand-new eScribe customer?
The Implementation Consultant assigned to manage your Onboarding experience will review your agreement and will offer access to the eScribe Academy so training can begin immediately, and be completed as soon as possible, without the need to schedule training.
Existing Customers who are Live and using eScribe:
Please contact your Implementation Coordinator or Customer Success Manager should you have questions about how many eScribe Academy licenses your organization has, and opportunities to assign new licenses for new staff who need to be trained on eScribe.
Accessing Training
All training is accessed through the eScribe Academy and available using this link for learners: eScribe Academy
Each eScribe Administrator will have their own unique license for the eScribe Academy. Each Admin will receive a certificate with their name after training is completed. Certificates can be printed, downloaded and added to your resume and LinkedIn profile! Administrators will be eScribe Certified!
Access to the eScribe Academy is additionally available through the customers instance through the Help Menu and does require a separate login.
eScribe Academy (Self‑Led Training)
The majority of eScribe implementations are supported through the eScribe Academy, a self‑led Learning Management System (LMS). The Academy allows users to:
- Complete training at their own pace
- Learn on their own schedule
- Revisit and retake courses and lessons as needed
It is recommended that training participants have a dual‑monitor setup, allowing them to follow along in their own eScribe instance while completing Academy courses. However, depending on rollout timing, some organizations may complete Academy training first and begin working in their live eScribe site after training is complete.
Hands‑On Learning
Where applicable, users may follow along in their own eScribe site during training to practice tasks as they are introduced. This hands‑on approach helps reinforce learning and supports a smoother transition into day‑to‑day use of the system.
Length of Training
Training duration depends on the assigned learning path or courses. On average, sessions range from 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the complexity of the content and the user’s pace in following the video material.
Types of Training Available
Training content in eScribe Academy is broken down into a combination of either courses or Learning Paths. Learning Paths and courses will be assigned by your assigned Implementation Coordinator or Customer Success Manager as users do not self register for training.
Workshops
During eScribe's Onboarding process, users will have the option to participate in Workshops alongside their completion of eScribe Academy. Workshop sessions may be done in conjunction with weekly/biweekly project meetings or scheduled as one off meetings, as decided is most meaningful between the Customer and their Implementation Consultant or Customer Success Manager. During workshops each organization will have the opportunity to discuss any specific process related discussions or follow up questions from the training session.
Urgent questions that arise throughout the Implementation process should be directed to the eScribe Support Team at support@escribemeetings.com as your Implementation Consultant may be in meetings and not immediately available to answer urgent questions.
Managing Licenses
- Licenses in the eScribe Academy are assigned to users who are designated as Super Administrators or Meeting Administrators at the current time.
- Each Admin must be given their own license so they can track their individual progress and get the full eScribe training experience and individual certificate.
- New eScribe Customers will be given a license for each Admin, depending on your Agreement, which is active for 12 months, during which time Admins have UNLIMITED access to the eScribe Academy.
- At the end of the 12-month period, eScribe Academy licenses will automatically deactivate, unless your organization chooses to add licenses to your annual subscription is purchased through your Account Manager, which will remain active until it is cancelled. If you have questions about the 12 month period, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for further assistance.
- Licenses cannot be re-assigned to another individual. Additional licenses must be purchased.
