Improvements:

  • Documents:
    • When adding or replacing a document template, the system will validate the document to ensure it's not password protected or corrupt, as this will cause issues when trying to create a document (Apr 6)
    • Attachments are now validated across the product to ensure they will not cause issues during package generation. The validation will take place before the document gets to the meeting site. A warning will appear to alert the user of a validation. The user is able to continue with the document, despite the warning message. The attachments will be validated to check for invalid characters in the filename, password protected files and corrupted files (Apr 6)
    • The Documents List now validates file uploads and displays a clear error message when a password-protected, corrupted, or unsupported file type is submitted (Apr 24)
    • When configuring document sequence numbers in Document Numbering settings, the Sequencing Category and Sequencing Additional Category dropdowns now prevent duplicate selections — any category already chosen in one field is automatically hidden from the other. Helper text has also been added to clarify that the same category cannot be used in both fields (Apr 24)
  • Approvals:
    • The Notes to Approvers section on the Approval Request Page is editable if the approval has been cancelled or declined. The textbox has also been updated to be a rich-text editor (Apr 20)
  • Meeting Templates:
    • Users can now clear a previously selected logo from a Meeting Template, leaving the logo field empty when no logo is required (Apr 15)

Fixes:

  • Meeting Site:
    • When editing the Public Display settings in the meeting template, the user was unable to interact with the settings and the text was not appearing on the public display when opened in the meeting site (Apr 8)
  • Live Streaming:
    • A delay was noticed when applying an overlay image when livestreaming a meeting (Apr 15)
  • Documents:
    • When copying a document link and accessing the shared page view, the page did not show the motion text (Apr 6)
    • Document permission changes were not saved when an administrator had updated the users role prior (Apr 6)
    • Within Microsoft documents, the track changes function was unable to track which user had left a comment (Apr 6)
    • When motion text was added in the document, the text that appeared in the Edit Details flyout and in the meeting site appeared cut off (Apr 15)
  • Approvals:
    • On the approvals page, the meeting administrator was able to see all pending approvals (Apr 6)
    • Approvals were not displayed to the applicable delegates, assistants or primary approver within their approvals page. No email notifications were received and when a user did access the document, an error appeared stating that the user did not have access to approve the document (Apr 8)
    • When an approval request was in progress, the document was not automatically being delegated to the delegate on the approval step (Apr 15)
    • Exception approvals were unable to move forward when the settings applicable to that approval type were edited when the exception approval was in progress (Apr 15)
    • Administrators can now approve workflows on behalf of users in Approvals without encountering an error (Apr 22)
    • The document signature page listed the delegate as the approver instead of the main approver (Apr 27)
