Publishing reliability is about making sure your meetings are published on time, exactly when you expect them to be. When you set a publishing deadline for a meeting, eScribe helps track whether that meeting is published by that deadline. The more consistently your meetings are published on time, the more reliable your publishing process is.
Publishing reliability:
- Reduces risk by helping customers meet mandated notice and transparency requirements
- Builds public trust through timely, accurate, and accessible meeting records
- Relieves staff stress by eliminating late-night edits, file chaos, and last‑minute publishing issues
- Creates confidence that eScribe can be relied on at critical publishing moments
Example 1: Meeting Published On Time
- Publishing deadline: March 10 at 5:00 PM
- Meeting published: March 10 at 3:30 PM
✅ Counts as on time
Example 2: Meeting Published Late
- Publishing deadline: March 10 at 5:00 PM
- Meeting published: March 11 at 9:00 AM
❌ Counts as late
Example 3: Calculating Your PRR
- Total meetings published: 10
- Meetings published on time: 8
PRR = (8 ÷ 10) × 100 = 80%
Setting the Agenda Publishing Target within the Meeting Template
To begin collecting data, Administrators must enter the number of hours in advance that the Agenda should be published to the iFrame per Meeting Type (Meeting Template). For example, if a meeting agenda is scheduled to be published by 5:00 PM on Monday, the Administrator should input the number of calendar hours prior to that deadline. This allows eScribe to measure how consistently the target publication time is achieved.
Publishing the Agenda
The next component of measuring reliability evaluates when the Agenda is published to the iFrame. This includes any available format of the Agenda, such as HTML, Agenda, or Full Package.
