Editing An Approved Document from the Approved Tab

Administrators have the ability to manage and edit approved documents as needed. Any updates made to an approved document will automatically update the version available to the author in eScribe. The official source of the document is maintained under the **Approved** tab, and all changes made there will be reflected in the author’s copy.

Changing the Status to from Approved to Draft

In the event the approved document must be sent back to the Contributor for additional changes, Administrators can change the status from "Approved" to "Draft" from the options menu and it will move from the Approved Tab to Draft Tab accordingly. This change in status allows the Contributor the ability to make edits as needed and resubmit through an approval process if required. This step ensures that the Contributors copy of the Document is the same as the Administrators.

Alternatively, once changes are completed, Administrators can opt to use the "Approve Document" option to bypass additional approvals and move the Document to the Approved Tab.

Changes to a Document within a Meeting

In the event a Document and/or a supporting document is edited within the meeting, the changes made ad hoc will not be reflected in the original document residing under the Approved Tab.
