1. Accessing iSiLIVE Support or Admin Panel

• Visit the iSiLIVE node on https://node.isilive.ca
• Navigate to File Browser tab.
  

2. Locating Your Video File

• Confirm the video file including  naming convention—e.g., date, event name, format (.mp4, etc.).

3. Download or Access the Caption File

• Locate the Closed Captioning file which will follow the same naming convention of the video but will include .vtt as it’s file extension type.

4. Edit the Caption File

Select the .vtt file and then View/Edit Captions

• Make the changes within the timestamps and Click Save changes.
  
• Alternatively, Click on Download This File and make the changes in notepad.

5. Re-upload the Edited File

• If the .vtt file was downloaded and changes were made in notepad then please re-upload the new file ensuring that the naming convention still follows the original video file name.

6. Preview and Test

• Play the video within iSiLIVE’s interface (if possible) to ensure captions sync accurately and display correctly.
• During playback, check for:
  • Proper on-screen placement
  • Text readability against background
  • Audio alignment with caption timing
