There are couple of ways to upload videos into iSi, via web browser by logging on to https://node.isilive.ca/ or via FTP with the use of any ftp program.

Option 1: Upload video file using node.iSilive.ca
Go to https://node.isilive.ca/

  1. Login using node credentials (Reach out to eSCRIBE if you don't have username/password to login)
  2. Click on File Browser as highlighted below
  3. Select Add files and ensure to upload .mp4 files
  4. Wait for it to upload and you can follow this guide to link the video to the eSCRIBE meeting: Adding the Video File

Note: In case you receive any errors "video size limit has exceeded 1GB limit"

Option 2: Use an FTP program to upload the video file, the example below uses Filezilla (you can use any preferred FTP program)

  1. Launch FTP program
  2. Input the following host, username and password (enter node.iSilive.ca credentials)
    Host: ftp.isilive.ca
  3. Drag .mp4 video filemceclip1.png
  4. Wait for it to upload and you can follow this guide to link the video to the eSCRIBE meeting: Adding the Video File
