Live Streaming Lite allows meetings to be recorded using a camera in a meeting room which is always streaming. The camera itself is manually turned on and off as needed by using the remote for the camera, if available, or by unplugging the camera itself from it's power source.

The setup and use is similar to that of Live Streaming Plus, however splash screens and video sources cannot be used with Live Streaming Lite.

Please follow the following steps to setting up Live Streaming Lite to your eSCRIBE site.

  1. Once the feature is purchased and Administrators are ready to start using Live Streaming Lite for an upcoming meeting cycle, please inform your Customer Success Manager, Implementation Consultant or Customer Education Specialist. Arrangements will be made to have an encoder shipped to the Administrators' location.
  2. Administrators will be introduced to and reach out eSCRIBE's third party vendor (provider of the encoder) to book a testing appointment to ensure the encoder is working properly.
  3. Inform your Customer Success Manager, Implementation Consultant or Customer Education Specialist about the success of the testing.
  4. Your Customer Success Manager, Implementation Consultant or Customer Education Specialist will email eSCRIBE's Support Team to enable the feature.
  5. Once the feature is enabled, Live Streaming must be enabled for each meeting template.
  6. From the Main Navigation Bar, go to Templates > Meeting Templates.
  7. Click the options menu of an existing meeting template and click on Edit Template.
  8.  Under Meeting Settings, click on Configure Meeting Settings.
  9. Under the General tab, click on the checkbox that says Enable Live Streaming.
  10. Click on Save Changes.
  11. Repeat steps 5-8 for each existing template.
