The following list outlines the Rich Text content controls that can be applied to your Document template to help automate the report writing process. If you would like any of the information noted here to populate into the draft report, you will need to apply the corresponding Rich Text content control:
Rich Text Content Control:
- Title (extracts from the Document and becomes the Agenda Item Title when adding the Document to the Agenda)
- Description: (extracts from the Document into the meeting)
- Meeting Date: (extracts from the meeting details)
- Department: (extracts from the Draft screen)
- Document Number (extracts from report properties into report if enabled )
- Sponsor (extracts from report properties into report and displays the First and Last name of the user in eScribe)
- Recommendation (Motion) (extracts from the Document into the meeting populating the Motion)
The screenshot below is of the reports properties that the report authors will need to complete prior to drafting the actual report. Once the form is completed, the draft report will be located under the Draft Tab to be opened and completed.
To tag your report template with these quick parts, see the article Report Data Extraction - Tagging the Report Title (same steps apply, using the Relevant field).
The following fields can be used to extract additional information from a report, and added to an Agenda when Creating an Agenda Item from an Approved Report. These fields must be added as Rich Text Content Control in Microsoft Word.
For more information about how to tag these areas, please see Report Data Extraction - Recommendation/Description Quick Part
