Assistants, if listed as part of approval step, will receive an email stating that their Approver has been assigned a task to approve a document. If the Assistant is aware that their Approver is unable to approve the document, they may reassign the task to a Delegate, if one is listed, by clicking on the link that says View Approval Request in the email notification.
NOTE: If no Delegate is listed, Admin Assistants will have to contact an Administrator to approve the document on their Approver's behalf.
Delegates that in appear in the approval request will need to be pre-populated in the approval group before they can be assigned. From the fly-out, place a checkmark next to the Delegate's name to reassign the task to them. Click Assign to complete the process.
The assigned Delegate will receive an email stating that they have been assigned a task to Approve the document.
