As a document (report) is created or uploaded into Document Manager, default permissions are automatically applied based on the selected Department as configured in eSCRIBE. In some cases (based on the users’s permission level), contributors are able to modify these permissions as required.

To edit the permissions for a report, select Manage Permissions in the document dropdown menu:

Permissions within a document are broken down into the following categories: Role Permissions and User Permission.  Role Permissions (Option A)  drop down will display users who are assigned Administrator level access , while the User Permissions (Option B) will display users who are setup as "Contributors" in their user profiles.

To add an additional user to to the document ad hoc, click the drop down or type to search for a user and then click " Add user".  The new user appears in the User Permissions drop down.

If a current user's access level is altered for a particular report beyond the settings at the Meeting Type Level or Department level, the user will be visually marked as stricken for that specific report exclusively and the new report permissions will apply.
