Microsoft 365 Collaboration-How to enable Clipboard access to copy/Paste 

 

  • You can copy and paste from the clipboard using  (Ctrl) + Shift + V (Windows)or Cmd+Shift+V (Mac) for a pasting as plain text. Be sure to allow clipboard access in your browser.
  • If you don't have clipboard Access enabled you will see the below message-

Follow the Below steps to Enable Clipboard access within Chrome browser

  1. Open Chrome
  2. In the top-right, click ⋮ (More) → Settings
  3. In the left sidebar, click Privacy and Security → Site Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Permissions → Clipboard.
  5. Choose:
    1. Sites can ask to read and change clipboard data (default, recommended), or
    2. Manage specific sites under the “Customized behaviors” list.

Or Alternatively steps option 2  for Chrome Browser

  • Open Chrome
  • In the top-right, click ⋮ (More) →  Site Settings

     

     

  • Scroll down to Permission- Clipboard
  • Choose:
    Sites can ask to read and change clipboard data (default, recommended), or
    Manage specific sites under the “Customized behaviors” list.

To Enable Clipboard Access within Edge Browser

  1. Open Edge and click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy search and services-Click on Site Permissions-All Permissions.
  3. Scroll down to Clipboard.
  4. Choose your preferred setting:
    1. Ask before accessing (recommended) – Edge will prompt each time.
    2. Manage exceptions to always Allow or Block specific sites.
