Go to Main Navigation Bar > Meetings > select specific Meeting > Meeting Mode drop down menu > Closed Session
Creating an item in Closed Session within an Open Session agenda will provide for two titles:
- Open Title (will appear on the open session agenda)
- Closed Title (will appear on closed session agenda)
It will also provide two Descriptions:
- Open Description (will appear on the open session agenda)
- Closed Description (will appear on the closed session agenda only)
These fields will provide flexibility to disclose as much information you would like to the the members of public verses what is seen by your Council, Committee, etc. Eg. Open Title can be "Personnel Matter" and the Closed Title can be "HR Discussion about XX". You can add more detail to the Closed Title and Description.
Adding items to the Special Action - Closed Session for a category like "Closed Session" or "In Camera", allows the use of the Open Title and Open Description. When creating agenda items in Closed Session, you need to have a Open Title. Open Description is not needed.
NOTE: The numbering for the Closed Session numbering will follow the numbering of the Open Session for the Closed Session agenda item. Eg. If the Closed Session agenda item in the Open Session is agenda item number 9. The Closed Session agenda will start from 9.1 or 9.a (based on the Package settings of the Meeting Template).
