Administrators can choose to create a separate Meeting Template specifically for the Closed Session, rather than using the Closed Session Special Action (a Closed Meeting within an Open Session).
Super Administrators will have access to all meetings for Closed Session and this access cannot be revoked. If you have Meeting Administrators who should not be able to access the Closed Session Meetings, creating a separate Meeting Template and a Separate Attendee Group allows you to control access for Meeting Administrators.
Create a Closed Session Meeting Template
Go to Main Navigation Bar >Templates > select Meeting Template of choice > Duplicate Template
By selecting Include Agenda Structure, the overall structure of the meeting is copied including categories, sub-items, and default text (resolutions, minutes, etc.). If this option is not selected, then only the meeting template will be copied, and the agenda structure for the new meeting template will be blank.
When duplicating the Meeting Template, review the Permissions Section. This area of permissions can dictate which different levels of control a specific user will have with this template.
Disabling Internet Publishing for Closed Session Meetings
For the Closed Session Meeting Template, there are other settings which should be disabled for security and privacy: Under the Meeting Settings section, click on Configure Meeting Settings > Publish > Enable Internet Publishing. Toggling this feature off ensures that the Closed Session Meetings cannot be published to the Publishing site (iFrame) accidentally.
Disabling Live Streaming
In the event Closed Session Meetings are not to be livestreamed/recorded, ensure to uncheck " Enable LiveStreaming" which disables the streaming options within the meeting. Configure Meeting Settings> General> Other Settings:
