Adding Agenda Items from eSCRIBE- Fields Explanation

Go to Main Navigation Bar > Agenda Items

This article provides a detailed explanation of the fields founds when adding agenda items from eSCRIBE. This will also include fields found when editing the agenda item before adding the agenda item to its destination meeting.  

Field Explanation
Comments

If rejecting an agenda item, these comments will be sent to the agenda item’s sponsor. This field should include comments as to why the agenda item is being rejected.

Agenda Item Details
Title Agenda Item/Category Title
Closed Session Title Agenda Item/Category Title for Closed Session
Description  Add the description for the agenda item 
Closed Session Description Add the description for the agenda item for Closed Session
Meeting Type Choose which meeting type the agenda item relates to
Meeting Date Choose specific date of that meeting type the agenda item will go to
Parent Is this item a sub-item of another Agenda Item? Leave as “None” if this item is a first-level item.
Place Item After Select where the item should appear in the agenda structure.
Sponsor Include eScribe Users (Eg. Managers or Supervisors of your team) who should be informed about changes to the specific agenda item. This can include the results of votes.
Department

Department responsible for the item (does not appear on the Agenda)

Comments Comments made by the user approving or declining the report.
Attachments Upload any supporting files related to the agenda item
Minutes
Add Motion Add default motion for the agenda item to appear in a meeting
