eSCRIBE Keyword Search

Go to Main Navigation Bar > Meetings > Search Icon

eSCRIBE Users are able to search keywords in items they have access to. Items that can be searched for are:

Agenda Items: This will display all matching items in the Agenda including Follow-up tasks, Conflicts, Minutes and Motions/Resolutions relative to the search criteria.
Motions: This will display all matching Resolutions corresponding to the search criteria. Search results will pull from the following fields: motion text, resolution text, resolution number and recommendation label.
Documents: When searching within a meeting, the results will be gathered from all documents (title and/or content). When searching within the eSCRIBE, results will be gathered from supporting documents and reports. No Closed Session documents will appear in the search. One result will match to one agenda item per document. If the same document is in several agenda items, you will several agenda item search results.
Filter by Meeting Type: Users will have the ability to select multiple meetings to refine search results.

Please Note: Search incremental crawls are conducted every 5 minutes. This means that any new content will only be returned in 5 minutes after entering in that information.

Place the keyword to be searched for with the Search Icon found at the top right of Meetings screen and select Enter on your keyboard.

After entering the keyword to be found, tap Enter on your keyboard or click on the Search Icon.

Any applicable results containing the keyword will be visible. Clicking on a PDF or Word Document will open a copy of the item.

Note: Items will be listed twice for Bilingual customers.

Category and/or Meeting Type filters can be applied to narrow the search by clicking in the applicable filter section and choosing the appropriate options, and clicking Filter.

When searching for Agenda Items, Minutes, Motions and Documents, clicking on the appropriate search result will bring the user to the agenda and highlight the result on the Agenda's Navigation, and will highlight the result on the Agenda Item's Details. You will need to return to Meetings from the Main Navigation Bar to get back to Keyword search to find another word.
