Updating a Meeting Template - Configuring Meeting Settings - Motion

This article explains the fields and settings found when Updating a Meeting Profile under Templates Meeting Templates > Configure Meeting Settings > Motion Tab

Motion Results Label	Explanation
Motion Process	Used to determine whether both a mover and seconder are required for resolutions. Mover and Seconder: Both mover and seconder required for resolutions Mover Only: Only the mover is required for resolutions None: No mover or seconder are required for resolutions.
Motion Results Labels
Motion - Pass	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how "Pass" will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package.
Motion - Tied	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how "Tied" will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package.
Motion - Lost	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how "Lost" will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package.
Motion - Others	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how additional result labels will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package.
Secondary Motion - Pass	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how "Pass" will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package when creating amendments.
Secondary Motion - Tied	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how "Tied" will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package creating amendments.
Secondary Motion - Lost	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how "Lost " will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package creating amendments.
Secondary Motion - Others	Using the textbox enter the desired value as to how additional result labels will appear in the Meeting and in the minutes package when creating amendments.
Additional Motion Results	This allows administrators the ability to add additional motion results for their organization in addition to Pass, Tied, Lost. These results will be displayed in a drop down format when a new motion is added to an item.
Additional Secondary Motion Results	This allows administrators the ability to add additional secondary motion results for their organization in addition to Pass, Tied, Lost. These results will be displayed in a drop down format when a new motion is added to an item.
Option to Abstain	Allow voters to abstain in a vote
