Go to Main Navigation Bar > Meeting > select specific Meeting > select agenda item > Agenda Item Minutes tab > Add drop down menu > Add Motion
To create a consent vote, simply select a Parent category (with child items populated) and select Add Motion from the Add drop down menu of the Minutes tab.
You will fill out the Add Motion fly out as you would for other votes. At the bottom of the Add Motion fly out, select Consent toggle from bottom of the Add/Edit Vote screens. Use the Include All Items checkbox to multi select all sub-items to be part of the consent vote.
Sub-items that are part of the consent vote are noted with a Consented label, and items sub-items that are not part of the consent vote (ex: have been lifted from consent), will not have that Consented label. Items on the agenda without votes will not inherit moved by, seconded by and result.
Clicking on the x beside the Consented label will lift or pull the item from the Consent Vote for discussion. Doing this will automatically move the item to the end of the list of items in the Post Minutes Package. The item also must be dealt with separately by adding a vote to the item that was lifted.
In Meeting (In-Session) mode (or editing in Meeting (Concluded) mode), when the consent vote in the parent category is filled out, select the moved by, seconded by and the result in order to push those values to all child items beneath the parent. In order for child items to capture details such as moved by, seconded by and result - each child item requires a vote.
To remove a consent motion, click on the Options Menu for the motion and click on Edit Motion. From there, deselect the Consent toggle and click on Save Changes at the top right of the fly-out.
