Go to Main Navigation Bar > Meetings > select Meeting > select Agenda Item with a vote/motion > click on Move / Second
During the Meeting, an Administrator and the Chairperson have the option to request for a Mover/Seconder, before opening the vote. Participants will be asked to click Move or Second on the Meetings Professional Apps to submit.
Administrators can determine if an Administrator will pick the Mover/Seconder from the requests, or if the first person to click Move/Second will be the Mover/Seconder. This can be done in the Meeting Templates. Click Move/Second to allow Voting Participants to submit their names as a Mover/Seconder.
If a Voting Participant submits as a Mover, they cannot submit as a Seconder.
Note: The Move/Second option allows Voting Participants to submit requests to Move or Second a Vote when using the eSCRIBE Meetings Professional App only. Please contact your Customer Success Manager and/or Implementation Consultant for more information.
Alternatively, Administrators can choose the Mover/Seconder from the drop downs manually.
When an Administrator selects Open to Voting, a Electronic Voting control panel will appear that will allow Administrators to manage the votes.
The Administrator will see any voting member who has not submitted their vote. As votes come in, a purple check marks will appear to indicate what vote was cast by the voter (except in the case of secret ballots).
Administrators can choose the Hide Completed Votes toggle to automatically have a Voting Participant’s name removed from the list, once their vote is cast. This will allow Administrators to easily see who has not submitted their vote yet. The Administrator can place a vote on behalf of a voter, in case the voter needs assistance by selecting their vote option. If a voter steps out of the meeting, they can be marked as absent from this list.
