Vacancy Status allows administrators to create additional custom statuses that aid in managing different applications according to their potential status. Under settings select Vacancy Status. Click Add New Status and and submit to save changes.
The status of Approved will trigger the ability to add an approved member to an existing Board from the applicant package. Changing the status from Pending to Approved does not send an email to the candidate by default. When adding a member to the Board, a customized email will be sent out informing them of their acceptance. Board Manager - Email Notifications
The status of Rejected will trigger an email to the candidate informing them their application was not approved. The Rejected email is an automatic email sent out once the status has changed and cannot be turned off at this current time. All other status options are labels that are used for tracking and reporting purposes. Any status option that has already been assigned to an application cannot deleted.
Once the status of an application has changed to rejected, it may then be deleted.
